Puerto Ayora, nuestra base para realizar los tours diarios a otras islas, solo estando en el muelle puedes ver simpaticos lobos marinos, mantarrayas, tiburones y más.
A truly amazing place unlike anywhere else! So many different species everywhere you walk (or swim) and as the animals here have not been hunted by humans in many years so are not frightened at all so you can get so close. On top of this the landscape is stunning, beautiful unspoilt beaches, active volcanoes, canyons...well you get the idea, we liked it!
Probably the highlight of our trip so far and will take some beating!

Las piscinas de la virgen, son piscinas naturales con agua proveniente de las cascadas, hay una para congelarse, una con agua caliente y otra para hervirte como pollo.
We went straight from our night bus to the thermal waters in Baños at 6am, but going from the super hot bath to the cold one woke us up!

Una visita rápida en Quito, conocimos el centro histórico, entramos al palacio de gobierno, uno de los mejores tours gratuitos que hemos ido, y conocimos un poco de su historia.
Unusual to find a gothic style church in South America, this wouldn't look out of place next to Westminister apart from the gargoyles were of turtles and iguanas. A highlight of our brief visit was a tour inside the presidential palace.

Una expedición salió de Ecuador y se toparon con un inmenso rio y con unas mujeres grandes y aguerridas, recordandoles a las Amazonas de la mitología, asi se originó el Rio Amazonas.
